How Accountable Care Physicians Group governs itself, reports on quality, and stays accountable to patients, providers, and Medicare.
Accountable Care Physicians Group operates under a physician-majority governing board, as required for participation in the Medicare Shared Savings Program. Board composition, voting structure, and conflict-of-interest policies are reviewed annually and are available on request.
We report quality performance data to CMS across the required domains — patient experience, care coordination, patient safety, and preventive health — on an annual basis. Aggregate results are made available to the public consistent with CMS public reporting requirements.
ACPG participates in Medicare's shared savings model, meaning the organization may receive a share of the savings generated through coordinated, cost-effective care — measured against quality performance. No financial arrangement between ACPG and its participating providers changes what a patient owes under Original Medicare.
Patients whose care is attributed to our ACO are notified in accordance with CMS guidelines. Patients may decline to have their claims data shared among ACO providers at any time, without affecting their Medicare coverage or access to care.
Accountable Care Physicians Group and its participating providers do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, age, or sex in admission, treatment, or participation in our programs and services.
